On Badger Bus Tours of 5 days or more, we will pick you up at home and return to you to your home at the end of the tour. Home pickups are available in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Washington, Ozaukee, Dane and Jefferson Counties.
We also have pickups available on most Badger Bus Tours of 5 days or more in the Chicagoland area in Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake and McHenry Counties at a cost of $50 per person.
If you sign up for the Single Share Program at least 45 days prior to departure we will match you up with a non-smoking travel partner of the same gender to share a room with you. If we cannot find a roommate for you, you get to travel at the double occupancy rate.
1 Paw = very minimal activity: Walking short distances, the ability to climb some stairs and carry a buffet tray.
2 Paws = Average activity: Be in good health with the ability to climb a flight of stairs, stand for at least 30 minutes and walk at least two blocks.
3 Paws = Moderate Activity: Walking tours and/or airport connections, walking upstairs and/or uneven surfaces, high altitudes.
4 Paws = More than moderate activity: Walking long distances including airport connections, uneven surfaces, and high altitudes.
5 Paws = Extremely active tour: Strenuous activities with extreme temperatures, high altitudes and extensive walking.
If you live outside the home pickup area and would like to take a Badger Bus tour of 5 days or more, we will include a pre-night stay in Milwaukee or Madison. Then on the morning of departure you will drive a short distance to a location where you will meet the bus and leave your car during the duration of the tour.
Everyone must be at least 21 years of age. The only exception is the Island Resort & Casino in Escanaba, Michigan allows passengers to be at least 18 years of age.
Yes – you will either need a valid passport or a valid travel card to take a tour into Canada. If you are taking a tour that is arriving by rail, air or cruise, the only acceptable identification for crossing the Canadian border will be a valid passport. You passport or travel card must be valid for 6 months beyond your scheduled return date.
If you have your heart set on a certain tour, we recommend you make your reservations as early as possible – 6 to 12 months is a good rule of thumb. To reserve your seat on a tour that is 2-3 days in length, we request a deposit of $25 per person to reserve your space. For tours that are 4 days or more by motorcoach we request a deposit of $100 per person to reserve your space. For tours that are 4 days or more by air, rail or cruise, we request a deposit of $500 per person to reserve your space. All reservations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis as long as space is available.
We may be able to accommodate that request, however, there will be additional charges incurred per night for the extra bed in a room.
For casino gaming focused tours, children are not allowed on tours. However, for the Badger Bus Tours, our travel experiences are designed for adults of all ages, children are more than welcome to join.
Your tour is exactly that: yours. If your itinerary includes an attraction or a tour, but you’d prefer to spend your time doing something different, that’s perfectly fine. Enjoy your time however you like! Just be sure that you meet with your tour director and discuss your plans and arrangements for meeting the group at a later time in the day.
